Seville, February 27th, 2025. – Viafirma, an innovative company in software development for the creation of digital signature and electronic authentication technological solutions, has celebrated the commemoration of its 25th anniversary by exposing the relevance of its expansion in Latin America, where it already generates 50% of its turnover. It has completed the audit process to become a Digital Certification Entity in Colombia, and is going to start operating in Uruguay participating in a cross-border project.
More than 100 people participated in the celebration of this 25th anniversary, with its shareholders, managers and workers fraternizing in Seville with representatives of corporations, entities and companies from Spain, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia and other countries where it is a reference.
Viafirma’s founder and CEO, Antonio Cabrera, expressed his great satisfaction for the achievements made since it began in 2000:
“We were born from scratch, without having a financial support, we had to live only from what we could generate in the market. We wanted to be a technological company of the future, based on creating our own products and promoting electronic signatures. Today we have 2,840 clients in 20 countries”,
Antonio Cabrera, Viafirma’s Founder and CEO
In his speech, he expressed his “gratitude to our partners, who have chosen to grow with us. Thanks to our partners, who have contributed to running the company with such harmony that, for example, in the last five years not a single issue discussed at board meetings has not been unanimously approved. And my thanks to all my colleagues who work in the company, who contribute so much enthusiasm and dedication every day”.
Antonio Cabrera explained that “Viafirma is a solvent company, which is in a sweet moment. Very internationalized, 50% of our revenues are generated in Latin America. Although we are growing in terms of ebitda by 30% every year for the last five years, the essence of Viafirma is not profitability, nor turnover, but to bring happiness to those who are linked to us inside and outside the company. Our greatest illusion is to be a vehicle of happiness”.
About the future strategy, he affirmed that:
““Viafirma’s development has only just begun. The best is yet to come. We are going to expand much more in Latin America. We have already completed the audit process to become a Digital Certification Entity in Colombia. And thanks to our agreements with organizations in the Dominican Republic, we are going to start operating in Uruguay participating in a cross-border project”
Viafirma, headquartered in Tomares (Seville), added 797 new customers in 2024, an increase of 11.62% over the increase achieved in 2023, when it added 714 new customers. In 2024 it reached the figure of 4 million euros in turnover. It has 40 employees on staff, and also has offices in Madrid, Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Bogota (Colombia).

Viafirma not only fulfills that, but also stands out for its high value in innovation. With the ability to anticipate market needs and develop disruptive solutions, which guarantees us a competitive position. We are not only involved as investors, but also in the strategic direction. Viafirma’s genesis took place in 2000, with the mission to provide advanced digital services to public administrations and to facilitate the management of procedures, taxes and resources to citizens. It was a pioneer in understanding the importance that the electronic signature would have for the functioning of society and focused on this challenge to contribute as a transforming agent.
Innovation is an intrinsic quality to Viafirma, soon demonstrated with products such as Viafirma Mobile, becoming in 2010 the first electronic signature app for iOS and Android in the market worldwide, later adding support for mobile readers to sign with the electronic ID.
Viafirma received the ENISE 2012 Award, granted by the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE, Government of Spain), for the best security solution for its mobile electronic signature system recognized with electronic ID.
Excellence with R&D&I
Viafirma obtained in 2016 the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission with its Invoice Cloud Market project. Its agile methodology based on R+D+i has been reflected through projects such as Vicarius Fidelis, for a secure multi-device platform for centralized delegated signature for administrative managers, which was selected and supported by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI); and Viafirma Documents, a project supported by the European Union from the Horizon 2020 program, with the aim of innovating a biometric digital solution for secure and universal handwritten signature.
