The Directorate General of Customs of the Dominican Republic (DGA) incorporates Viafirma Fortress to its customs process management system.
The users participating in these processes will be able to authenticate and sign documents in their usual platform (SIGA), using their digital certificates of centralized signature. Managed individually through their user accounts in Viafirma Fortress. Software that allows accessing these certificates stored in a cryptographic server in the cloud, thanks to the validation of the so-called Identity Providers (IdP’s), such as single-use codes sent via SMS (OTP SMS), OTP email, OTP Token, fingerprint, LDP, etc. Configured in a particular way by each user for each of their certificates installed in the cloud.
An important challenge for Viafirma given the large volume of documentation it handles and its economic impact on the country’s economy. Therefore, we can only thank the DGA for trusting us to carry it out.
