Instructions for installing certificates in the Java store on Windows 10

To install certificates in the Java store instead of in the browser’s store, the steps are as follows:

Open the Java configuration panel. To access go to Start->Control Panel->Programs->Java.
Install the certificate in the Java store.
Once the control panel is open, select the security tab and click on “Manage Certificates”.
In the certificate management window select Certificate Type: “Client Authentication” (it is very important to select this type so that it can be used).
Import the digital certificate (p12 or pfx file format).
