Having centralized certificates allows you to incorporate the cloud signature in your processes. Viafirma Fortress supports three centralized signature procedures taking into account the origin of the requests.
Client signature (desktop – CSP)
The certificates centralized in the tool can be used in client signature processes thanks to Fortress Desktop, the desktop application that allows them to be used in websites or third-party applications whenever necessary.
Besides, Viafirma Fortress Desktop makes use of the extensions installed in the browsers that allow the application of use policies and restrictions defined by the certificate owners.
Client signature (through API)
Through integration you will be able to incorporate centralized signature services in your systems. Each user who is required to use his digital certificate to sign or authenticate will have to pass one or two authentication factors to authorize the operation.
Unattended signature (via API)
It also allows the configuration of access policies based on the number or time of use of the certificate. This is ideal for unattended signatures such as electronic seals or electronic invoices, being able to manage in this case digital certificates associated to third party systems integrated with Viafirma Fortress APIs.
Signature Policy
Different signature policies are offered among the services exposed to integrators, with PDF and XML signature formats in all their variants, including long-lived signature formats.
You can also define signature stamp policies, choosing from various visual representations and watermarks based on text, images, barcode, QR-Code and PDF-417.
