When we speak of a set, we refer to a set of documents and signatories that are related to each other within the same signing process. Think of a set as a “package” of documents that must be signed by certain people before it is completed.
Other solutions call it “over”, as it groups everything you need in a single shipment. However, it is important to understand that in this case the documents are not handled independently: the set is an indivisible unit.
If one of the documents within the set has an error (for example, an incorrect data), it is not possible to reject only that particular document. Instead, the entire set should be rejected, implying that all documents and signatories involved will be invalidated and a new set must be regenerated from scratch.
Why does it work this way?
This ensures consistency in the signing process and prevents documents from being approved with incorrect or incomplete information. By rejecting the complete set, it is ensured that all documents are reviewed and corrected before being sent back.
👉 Tip: Before sending a set, check the documents and data included to avoid rejections and speed up the signing process.
